Adult Golf Clinic

Warminster's Five Ponds Golf Course will run adult clinics during the months of May through October. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes will be one hour long and run for six straight weeks (Example: Six Tuesdays in a row, May 4, 2010 thru June 8, 2010).

Each of the evenings we will have two different time slots: 5:00-6:00 for beginners and 6:00-7:00 for more advanced players. Classes will be limited to 6 students per time slot.

Clinic content and lesson plans will vary depending on the abilities of the students, but all aspects of the full swing and the game will be covered. Set-up positions and full-swing will me the main topics of the beginner classes. The more advanced classes will cover these topics as well as the short game (chipping and putting) and the specialty shots (pitch shots and bunker play).

Junior Camps

Warminster's Five Ponds Golf Course has an extensive Junior Golf Program for children ages 9-16. Our professional staff will help students of all abilities (non-golfer to aspiring Jr. PGA Tour members) learn all aspects of the golf swing, as well as the rules of the game and golf course etiquette.

Clinics will be held Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM during the months of June, July, and August. Class sizes may vary, but each clinic will have at least one instructor for every 7 students. Rain-outs may be made up during succeeding classes.

Clinics will start by building a proper address position, concentrating on the grip,set-up and body posture. Classes will then proceed into the basic parts of the golf swing: back-swing, down-swing, impact position and follow through. Although the fullswing will be the main area of concern, the short game, rules of the game, and golf course etiquette will also be addressed.

The staff at Five Ponds G.C. understands that the growth of the game is in the hands of our junior golfers. Our goal is to give instruction that maximizes learning and is enough "fun" to keep our students involved and active in the great game of golf.

Fees: ($199 / week) Sign up 2 or more children and take 10% off each week. Jr Clinics include range balls, a drink and lunch each day.
